Danish M&A Champion

The reputable international intelligence and data agency Mergermarket names Kromann Reumert top M&A legal adviser of the year in Denmark.
In 2016, Kromann Reumert has been adviser in some of the largest and most important mergers and acquisitions in the market, which was recognized by Mergermarket on 8 December 2016 in the 10th anniversary year of their European M&A Awards. The award ceremony took place at Banqueting House in London and was attended by more than 300 participants from all over Europe.
"We are extremely proud and happy to receive the recognition afforded by the election of Kromann Reumert as the leading M&A legal adviser of the year in Denmark. Whatever the size of a transaction, it is our ambition to be the preferred M&A legal adviser in Denmark. We focus constantly on optimising process management and pricing, and we never compromise on the quality of our advice," says Christina Bruun Geertsen, partner and co-head of Kromann Reumert's M&A specialist group. "Our focus as well as our huge experience and in-depth knowledge of most industries allow us to efficiently find solutions to complex legal problems - and this is fruitful in the market, which is demonstrated by e.g. the Mergermarket award."
Kromann Reumert has been adviser to e.g. DONG Energy in connection with the sale of its gas distribution network to Energinet.dk prior to the IPO of DONG Energy. Other high-profile cases include the sale of TDC Sweden to Tele2, in which we assisted TDC, and the sale of the majority shareholding of Sitecore to EQT, in which we assisted Sitecore.
All in all, 2016 has been a fantastic year for Kromann Reumert. Earlier this year, we were awarded Law Firm of the Year 2016 by both Chambers and Who's Who Legal, and we received the highest ranking in the annual Prospera report.
