Kromann Reumert assists PolyTech Group in acquisition of fos4X

PolyTech Group, located in Bramming, Denmark, has acquired fos4X GmbH, a Munich-based innovator of fiber optic sensor technology and data analytics.

PolyTech is a market leading supplier of i.a. lightning protection systems and leading edges to turbine manufacturers and energy companies delivering products and services that increase annual energy production (AEP) and reduce the cost of energy (CoE) in the wind industry. With this acquisition, PolyTech will further strengthen its ability to serve customers as a blade technology specialist. The current fos4X activities and offices in Germany and China will continue to operate as part of PolyTech.      

PolyTech is owned by funds advised by Verdane Capital, the Northern European private equity firm. 

Kromann Reumert has assisted the PolyTech team on all legal aspects of this transaction highlighting our strong focus and expertise on Outbound M&A and the renewable energy sector. 

The team assisting PolyTech consisted of Jakob Hans Johansen, Hillary Roberts, Mette Rasmussen, Daniel Loft, and Anne Cathrine Dahlgaard. Law firms Noerr and Baker Mckenzie, China advised on German and Chinese aspects, respectively, of the transaction.
