Erik Bertelsen specialises in competition law, particularly dominant companies, cartels and mergers, as well as Danish and EU procurement law. Erik became a partner in 2000 and has since been part of the firm's market-leading Competition Group.
Erik’s clients include major Danish and foreign businesses. He is experienced in handling all aspects of competition law, particularly abuse of dominance, including discount schemes, prices and refusal to supply.
Erik also has extensive experience in mergers, especially within sectors such as food, agriculture, energy, retail and industry. He is a highly experienced competition and procurement litigator. His special expertise includes appeal cases concerning decisions made by the competition authorities, and actions in damages for competition law violations. Erik has conducted several landmark cases before the Danish Competition Council and the Danish Competition Appeals Tribunal, and he has also handled criminal competition cases.
