Jakob works with company transactions and company law, advising businesses within a range of sectors and also financial investors (private equity and venture capital) on matters such as M&A, minority investments, funding and joint ventures in Denmark and abroad. 

Jakob is adviser to a number of companies in relation to their joint ventures, partnerships and other strategic alliances in Denmark and abroad, drawing on his extensive experience in the structuring of such international partnerships and the relevant legal aspects to be considered.


Also, Jakob is co-head of Kromann Reumert's specialist group on international trade, advising on a wide range of topics relating to establishment, distribution, and trading abroad. He specialises in contractual as well as regulatory issues (e.g. export controls and trade restrictions (embargoes etc.) and money transfers).


Jakob was the head of Kromann Reumert's London office in 2009-2012, earning him solid experience internationally and an extensive international network. He is also a qualified UK solicitor.
