Jakob Rosing specialises in maritime and transport matters, all aspects of insurance and tort law, as well as dispute resolution within a broad commercial law context.

Much of Jakob's work involves conducting litigation and arbitration in Denmark and abroad. He has handled a multitude of disputes, including group actions and high-profile cross-border disputes within the financial sector. 

Jakob appears regularly before the Maritime & Commercial High Court in Copenhagen and the Danish High Courts and he has right of audience before the Danish Supreme Court before which he has argued several cases. He is a member of the firm's dispute resolution group. 

Many of Jakob's cases involve international aspects, such as issues about conflict of laws. 

Jakob has extensive experience in arrest and injunction proceedings, and with the enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards in Denmark.

He is also highly experienced within all types of insurance matters, including in particular matters concerning marine and transport insurance (cargo, hull and machinery, P&I and freight forwarders' liability), professional indemnity, prospectus and D&O liability.

Jakob's has also assisted a broad range of clients with the negotiation and drafting of logistics agreements and other transport-related agreements.

Jakob's experience include advice on international trade issues and he has considerable experience in drafting standard terms and conditions, particularly general terms and conditions of sale and delivery, and terms of purchase.
