Jesper Aa. Rasmussen works primarily with mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including in particular Danish/German transactions, general commercial and company law matters, as well as Danish/German legal matters and contractual negotiations. Jesper became a partner in 1996 and is currently a member of several corporate boards of directors.


Jesper advises Danish and foreign (particularly German) clients on business transfers and other transactions such as mergers, and the establishment of joint ventures. He also offers ongoing commercial and company law advice to a host of small, medium-sized and large Danish as well as foreign (particularly German) enterprises. As part of this commercial and company law practice , Jesper is a member of several corporate boards of directors.

Combining in-depth knowledge of commercial law, considerable insight into Danish and international commercial matters and an efficient and commercial approach, Jesper assists clients in reaching their objectives as quickly as possible.

For almost twenty years, Jesper has been involved in a multitude of transactions, often involving foreign (especially German) buyers or sellers. More recently, he has advised on:
  

  • Falck A/S' purchase of the Danish company Responce A/S and the German company G.A.R.D. Gemeinnützige Ambulanz und Rettungsdienst GmbH, 
  • the sale of the software company Dantek A/S to Systematic A/S, 
  • the German company Zeppelin Rental GmbH & Co. KG's establishment of the joint-venture Fehmarnbelt Solution Services A/S with Ramirent Plc., 
  • Shipping.DK A/S' purchase of Maersk Broker Agency, 
  • Haarslev Industries A/S' acquisition of all shares in the German company C.A. Pickard Engineering GmbH & Co KG, 
  • the listed company Prime Office A/S' purchase of 59% of the shares in the real property company K/S Danske Immobilien, 
  • the sale of the real property group Cornerstone Properties Germany to a German investor.
