Steffen Bang-Olsen primarily works with property investment and property finance, transactions, project development, restructurings and general corporate, commercial and contract law. Steffen was admitted to the Danish bar in 2009 and has since been an integrated part of Kromann Reumert's property team.
Steffen advices a vast variety of Danish and international clients, including banks, pension funds, property owners, developers, private equity funds and other private clients regarding matters such as sale and purchase, financing, project development, lease etc. of real property and other commercial and corporate matters. Steffen also has vast experience regarding restructurings, intercreditor, bank and winding up agreements and related aspects of distressed portfolios of properties and financings.
Steffen is renowned for his strong analytical skills and his ability to swiftly analyze and diagnose complex legal problems, relations and structures. Steffen's style is "no-nonsense", informal and with a dedicated focus on providing and effecting commercial and pragmatic solutions to complex legal issues between the involved parties, with the aim of minimizing risk and accommodate the interest of the client in the best possible way.
During his time with Kromann Reumert Steffen has advised on numerous large and smaller transactions, restructurings and real estate projects at his clients' satisfaction.
Steffen graduated from law at Aarhus University in June 2006 and was admitted to the Danish bar in September 2009. In the period 2003/2004 Steffen studied at King's College London, where he earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in 2004.
