Tina Brøgger Sørensen specialises in data protection, employment and labour law. Tina is head of Kromann Reumert’s Personal Data and Whistleblower Schemes practice group and is a certified information privacy professional (CIPP/E). She became a partner in January 2011.

 

As head of Kromann Reumert's Personal Data and Whistleblower Schemes practice group, Tina is engaged in the preparation and implementation of data protection initiatives and documents. This includes preparation of data protection policies, procedures, guidelines, and assessments in relation to GDPR-related obligations such as records of processing activities and data protection impact assessments, employee training, advice on matters related to customer profiling and location data, and assistance in communicating with the Danish Data Protection Agency. 

 

Tina has considerable experience in advising employers on discrimination issues, dismissals in connection with restructurings, rationalizations or business closures, and on senior management issues.

 

She also advises Danish and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, stock exchange listings, and incentive programmes. She has in-depth knowledge of the employment and data protection law challenges faced by clients in various sectors. Tina often assists in acquisition or sale transactions where compliance with employment and data protection law is crucial. 

 

Tina demonstrates commercial understanding in her advice, highlighting any internal political implications for companies in their selected courses of action. Tina has advised clients in several cases of general public importance and appeared before the European Court of Justice. Tina has vast experience in speaking at national and international conferences and lecturing on various aspects of employment and personal data protection law. Furthermore, she is an official instructor in CIPP/E training courses and teaches at Copenhagen Business School's courses for board members.
