Kromann Reumert is the leading legal and commercial adviser on wind energy on the Danish market.

Wind energy - both onshore and offshore - is the main source of renewable energy in Denmark and plays a decisive role in achieving the objective of climate neutrality in Denmark by 2050.

Our Energy Practice Group counts some of Denmark's leading legal and commercial advisers on wind energy issues and has been involved in the development of the Danish wind energy sector from the very beginning. We also assist in international projects, for example in connection with acquisition of wind turbines or project financing and investments in wind turbine projects.

Our Energy Practice Group has assisted in the drafting and negotiation of many of the world's largest offshore wind turbine contracts, and we also specialise in the drafting and negotiation of FIDIC-based contracts such as purchase contracts. We also have expert knowledge of contracts on delivery and servicing of wind turbines and on the development and acquisition of wind turbines or wind turbine projects at different stages.

Over the years we have gained in-depth knowledge of the wind industry, and in recent years we have provided advice on wind projects in Denmark, Europe, Asia and the Americas, and our experience also extends to wind projects in Australia.

We advise companies of all sizes on onshore and offshore wind turbine projects, including projects subject to an EU tendering obligation. Our clients include both small developers seeking to develop projects in Denmark and large international players requesting our assistance in international transactions.

We also assist other players in the industry such as manufacturers, subcontractors, service providers and test centres.
