We assist clients in all business sectors in relation to patent issues, including chemical/pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies, and companies in the mechanical and electronic industries. We cooperate with the client’s own regular patent agents and experts or with experts from our extensive network. We are trained in understanding complicated technical issues in very short time.

Our advice 

We conduct a very large number of legal actions:

• concerning infringement and validity of patents and utility models, which are heard by Danish courts at all levels, 
• entitlement to inventions, which are heard by Danish or international courts or arbitration tribunals.

International contacts

We frequently work in litigation teams together with our international contacts whom we know from similar assignments through many years. Based on personal experience of co-operating in previous matters, we are able to identify the best-qualified colleagues in most relevant jurisdictions. This allows us to take prompt action, also abroad, when clients need to enforce their rights or defend themselves against competitors.

Through voluntary work in international organisations, we contribute to the international development of patent law, and we share our knowledge at public courses and private seminars, teaching patent litigation to Danish businesses, advisers, experts and judges. Finally, we are authors of leading legal commentaries and textbooks in the field.
