We have extensive experience in sports law, i.a. advising professional athletes on legal issues relating to their career.

We also frequently advise businesses on sponsorships and advertising agreements and advise and assist in relation to the buying or selling of sports and entertainment businesses, including sports clubs, sponsor companies, etc.

Athletes’ rights

We advise professional athletes, players’ associations, sport federations, etc., on all legal aspects of athletes’ careers, including about:

matters pertaining to employment law, e.g. wage, benefits, working hours, and holiday
disciplinary actions
withholding of player's certificates
doping cases
moving from one club to another
advertising, image and sponsor rights

Sponsorship rights

We advise on all issues relating to the sponsoring and marketing of sports events, concerts, etc. In recent years, we have been involved in a number of advertising and sponsorship agreements.

Our clients come to us for advice on sponsorship agreements and the drafting and negotiation of them, i.a. in terms of:

Doping cases

We advise athletes on matters of doping and have, for example, represented athletes in doping cases pending with Danish and international doping authorities.

Litigation and disputes
