Novo Holdings acquires global CDMO in billion dollar all-cash transaction

We are pleased to have assisted Novo Holdings A/S, the investment company of the Novo Nordisk Foundation, as Danish legal counsel in relation to its entry into a merger agreement under which it will acquire Catalent (NYSE: CTLT) in an all-cash transaction valuing Catalent at USD 16.5 billion.

As part of the transaction, Novo Holdings will carve-out and sell three fill-finish sites located in Italy, Belgium and the USA to its affiliate Novo Nordisk A/S.
