Axcel, Denmark's largest private equity fund, together with Chr. Augustinus Fabrikker, acquired the IT group itm8 from Hg Capital.The itm8 group consists of IT Relation, Mentor IT, Itadel, Sotea, Improsec, Miracle42, Emineo, Copenhagen Software, Me'ning, Progressive, and Cloud Teams. itm8 is the leading IT supplier to Danish SMEs in cloud services, digital transformation, application services, and cybersecurity. Axcel merged itm8 with their existing Swedish portfolio company Addpro. After the merger, itm8 had 1,700 employees and a turnover of DKK 2.6 billion.
