Extraction of raw materials

The Danish Raw Materials Act contains the rules on extraction of raw materials on land and at sea. We have many years of experience in advising extraction businesses and regulatory authorities on the Danish Raw Materials Act and on the grant of extraction permits. We have unique insight into the complicated interrelationship between utilisation of raw materials on one side and consideration for protection of environment and nature on the other side. 

We also assist clients in determining and interpreting the terms and conditions of extraction permits, for instance time limits and post-treatment, and we advise on the drafting of contracts with land owners.

We are highly experienced in advising on special legal issues concerning registered rights that according to Supreme Court practice enjoy particular protection under section 73 of the Constitutional Act of Denmark.
