Waste

We advise both on the general rules laid down in the Danish Environmental Protection Act and in the Danish Executive Order on Waste, and on their relationship with overall EU regulation in the area of waste law. 

In addition, we have significant experience in advising on special areas such as, for example, determining waste fees, drafting and construction of waste regulations, and regulation of i.a. waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). 

We also offer interdisciplinary advice to the utilities sector, advising on the interaction and and joint operation between different utilities and the special problems that may arise from the conversion of waste-sector operators into companies.

• waste collection, disposal and recycling of waste
• regulation of utilities and joint operations with other utilities
• calculation and collection of waste fees, structuring and interpretation of waste regulations
• National and international transportation of environmentally hazardous substances/waste.
